Suggestion to Modify Enter Key Functionality in Chat

One “feature” that would be very useful for me is to be able to deactivate the sending of the chat when I press the enter key. I obviously use the shift + enter combo for line breaks, but it often happens that I forget the shift and my message leaves when I haven't finished it, which is very irritating. Or perhaps it would be possible to replace the current form send with the cmd + enter combination and keep the enter key alone for line breaks?
