Product Feedback: Knowledge Folder Selection Enhancement
Hey, maybe this request was already pushed by someone else but...
I’d like to suggest an improvement to the knowledge attachment system for assistants. Currently, when we check a parent folder (like for example “Intercom” to include the entire Help Center), all sub-items get automatically selected but become grayed out and uneditable.
The issue: We often need to attach entire folders but then selectively exclude certain sub-collections. For example, I might want to include the whole Intercom Help Center but exclude specific collections within it.
Suggested enhancement: When checking a parent folder, keep the child checkboxes interactive so users can:
✅ Check the parent to select all children
❌ Then individually uncheck specific items they don’t want included
This would give us much more granular control over what gets attached to our assistants without having to manually select everything one by one.
