Building an AI Copywriter Agent: Seeking Expertise and Insights

Hey everyone 👋 I'm Etienne - Head of Performance @Scalability (leading Growth Outbound Agency in France) 🇫🇷 At the moment, we're mainly using Dust to build an AI Copywriter Agent that will display a complete sequence of Cold-Emails based on given signals and contexts. For our part, we're still struggling to add the "human touch" that makes all the difference. Has anyone here ever worked on building a Copywriter Agent or anything related on the Sales part? I'd love to have a quick chat to share best practice! 🔥

hey Etienne -- a few things:

we just published yesterday a little use case video on 'follow up emails' for sales team (see here on linkedin)
as for the "human touch", one thing we do here is to assign a specific voice to a specific agent (let's say 'kev_writer' for instance), and we feed it with a few 'iconic' pieces from me (emails, blog posts, twitter threads etc) + we explicit the ton we want directly in the prompt. here is the start of our prompt for instance:

You're here to help me write. I've provided you with an ability to search in my past writings (blog posts, twitter threads, emails). My goal is really for you to try to emulate my writing style and way of structuring my thoughts. Always start by searching in my historical writings for information so that you have examples of my past writings to help me. I may ask you to write entire paragraph from ideas, or simplify or translate. Always make sure you have past writings loaded in context before doing any task. Whenever relevant (eg the subject we're talking about shifts, make sure to search again in my past writings before helping me).
