Folks, adding slack connection to Dust I selected a lot of channels and I see Dust is indeed joining some of them but not all. On Connection Admin I can see channels being listed as available for Company Data and also a Last Update but Dust hasn't even joined them yet. What can I expect from this? its already several hours and I dont see new joins. Will it eventually pick up? Anything I have to do?
Hey Caio Zanolla 👋 Thanks for your question! Dust joining a channel just mans that you can call directly from the channel. If I remember correctly, nothing is shown on Slack-side when you synchronize a channel in Dust. If you can add it to "Company Data", you should be ready to go!
All channels I mentioned are already on Company Data from Dust perspective but Dust agent (with proper access to that data) says it cannot find anything. For some channels asking the agent if it has access I get a positive response and I can inuiry about that channel. But for others, even though they are available on company data, available for the agent and with Dust app joined, I have no response from dust. It says it has no access to that data
Any way we can do a video call so I can show it? Maybe you can also help me with lingering questions I'm having with other things too like Google drive connection. I'm trying to evaluate Dust for use at my company but at this point is is being a frustrating exercise.
Caio Zanolla did you connect it using the "search" tool and not some other tool? I am sorry to hear that onboarding has been a frustrating experience for you.
