Querying Multiple CSV Files in Google Drive Without Uploading to Dust

·
·

I have a folder in Google Drive which contains csv files (all of the same format, so they together represent one table). I was hoping to use the Query Tables tool to query them, but it doesn't appear to allow that. Is there a way to achieve this without having to first upload the files into a Dust folder? Thanks!

Hello David Ebbo ! You should be able to drag and drop directly in the convo since the latest product update. Otherwise, did you upload the document as « table » the query table tool will only show you tables

Thanks Remi. As it stands, there is no upload involved. The csv files are sitting in an existing folder in my Google Drive, and I'm trying to have Dust consume them directly. But maybe the answer is that Dust does not currently support this, and that I instead need to do one of two things:

    • Upload them as tables to a Dust folder (or into the convo)

    • Convert my csv's to a Google Sheet, which Dust can then consume

I will experiment with these approaches.

Yes indeed, turning them in Gsheet files could help. Let me know if it doesn't work!

Thanks, it does work when I first manually turn them into a GSheet. Ideally, it would be able to consume csv files directly off a Google Drive, so maybe something to add to the backlog? 🙂
