Easier Way to Select All Objects in Salesforce Integration?

·
·

For the Salesforce integration - it’s bit hassle to manually select all the objects 1 by 1 as data source. Is there anyway to ‘Select All’ objects?

Hi Jay Zhao, we actually are in the process of removing this Connection to replace it by a new Saleforce tool, which removes this hassle. You can find the documentation here: https://docs.dust.tt/docs/salesforce

Got it thank you Daphné - Ive imagine some huge enterprise orgs with 1k+ objects would complain having to manually select all the objects individually. Looking forward to the new updates that’s in for Salesforce and if there’s a place for me to subscribe to the latest, please kindly share!

Yes it was definitely an issue, the new tool is much more easy to use it's only a couple of clicks to associate to an agent.

We don't have a channel to share only Salesforce related updates but we share Product Updates regularly on our Linkedin account/our Blog, or if you want to see everything we publish all updates on https://docs.dust.tt/changelog 🙏🏻

Could you let me know when I can remove the previous Salesforce Connection on your workspace? 🙏🏻 We will deprecate it soon and I need to clean it up in all the workspaces so once you switched to the tool I can take care of removing it 🙇🏻‍♀️

I think our org is connected via the new connection. It was done precisely directed by the documentation shared. Is it showing old connection somehow?

Yes the new Tool is in Spaces > Tools and the former Connection is in Spaces > Connections

Yeah - I believe i’ve already done it that way. Confirming there are no more tools available for the space!

It seems that your Salesforce agent is still using the former Connection and not the tool. 🙏🏻 On your agent the tool is now attach with this:

We will no longer use the Salesforce that you see when you click on "Add Knowledge" > "Query Tables" > "Salesforce"

Yeah very weird, perhaps my account isn’t within the scope to have access to the new tool? I have elevated permission, but Salesforce isn’t available to me as a tool within the agent itself

OK let's debug this together 🙏🏻 If you go there on the Tool menu you see the tool right?

If the answer is yes, you can then click on "Company Space" > Tool to add the tool to the open Company Space
