It would be great to have a usage dashboard / view of how much storage has been consumed so far with ingested data (out of the total that a workspace's plan allows) Since I understand that the 1GB/user limit of some plan is based on the size of the extracted text content, it is hard to understand what size does our ingested data take once processed
Hey Remi, true and I see what you mean, but it did take me some back and forth with dust teams to understand that my "300 GB" Sharepoint would end up weighing once ingested less than 1GB. It is true that now I know and probably wouldn't need that feature again since I can trust that I am fine I think in general, and connected with my other feedback point here , with the rise of "lean AI driven startups" the amount of data per user might skyrocket in knowledge work We will see more and more companies with a couple/<10 employees and TB of data to ingest. For those reasons, being able to 1. scope what goes into dust from a connector and 2. monitor the usage could become more and more useful. And from a commercial pov maybe 3. get a plan based on the amount of data if you have few users. Just a few thoughts, nothing urgent
