Hello I'd like to know if there are plans to implement key pair authentication for Snowflake connections in Dust? This is becoming important since Snowflake will soon deprecate password-based authentication, making it necessary for us to transition to the key pair authentication method. 🔒 Thank you!
Thanks Thibaut Courtain for the question! It's not on the roadmap at the moment. I'll log this request in & share it with the team - the team will prioritize based on how often we get the request. 🙏
Thank you for your feedback, Remy. If you'd like additional details, Snowflake has provided a deprecation timeline outlining the upcoming changes. https://docs.snowflake.com/en/user-guide/security-mfa-rollout?mkt_tok=MjUyLVJGTy0yMjcA[…]werP5zFGzVCSuvjPNeW_wvlYWgeSZONFlHkjMwZlTh8NwT-TZMGq660pc9A
Super useful, thanks!
Hey there! I totally get your concern. I've run into the same problem myself. I'm looking to upgrade my Snowflake user security by switching from password to key pair authentication. But I'm a bit worried this will mess up Dust's ability to connect to my Snowflake account.
Thanks François Blanchard ! The team is having a look - although it doesn't seem trivial to fix. I'll let you know once I know more. cc Thibaut Courtain
