Hello, I am having trouble getting Sharepoint access to dust, I get the attached message since I am not admin but my admin does not see any request in their admin console, and I never encounter the "Request admin consent" button mentioned in this guide https://docs.dust.tt/docs/microsoft-connection or that the @help agent mentioned when I asked Anybody ran into this? I am not admin as we are running a pilot for a client of ours with dust
Hey Remi, thanks. My admin (client) does not have a dust account yet, since we are running the feasibility study first and he's not part of the client team that would use dust. By service account do you refer to the service principal mentioned in dust or something different?
It's essentially an account that different people can log into to manage the connections. Because connections are linked to one account, if you need someone else in the team to manage the connection, you'll need to kill the connection and recreate it - which is a bit cumbersome I usually advice that the people managing the connection have the relevant admin right in the tool they are connecting - otherwise it will be tricky to setup/debug/increase scope. etc 😊
Understood, thanks! But does that mean this "request admin consent" button does not exist? Since only an admin can create the connection right?
Indeed, it's a bit misleading :s
