Understanding Data Tools: Include, Extract, and Search Explained

Use case: We have created a #help-finance agent in our internal Slack channel to answer question from employees - The agent has context via specific notion pages and past messages in said Slack channel. Now, for this kind of use case, can someone please explain to me in detail (with examples if possible) what exactly the difference between the tools include data, extract data, and search is? I find this explanation quite superficial.
