Troubleshooting Notion Sync Issues with AE Master Playbook

·
·

Hi, I have a question related to the Notion sync. Just as context for the screenshot below, I’m trying to connect my Sales Notion space. One of the most important “folder” under this Sales Notion space is the AE Master Playbook. Inside this AE Master Playbook I have other pages (like a dozen of pages). However, it looks like Dust cannot retrieve the content / pages from that AE Master Playbook, what’s weird is that it looks like there’s no problem for the page below Cross-team Meetings. (cf. screenshot below and the two different icons between AE Master Playbook and Cross-team Meetings). For connecting Notion I followed this guide from the documentation. Does anyone already have this problem of syncing with Notion? If yes please let me know how can I solve it! Thanks a lot

Thanks for the question Thomas Sill! Did you make sure that there was no access restriction on the page/one of its parent page? When there is, it's often shown next to the breadcrumb.

hi Remi, thanks for your answer! It looks like there's no particular restriction (cf screenshot below). The AE Master Playbook is set to General access for all people in my Organization, however, the Sales file is only for people invited. Do you think this could be a reason? Would be weird because I have other Notion pages inside Sales that have been synced correctly.

I think it could be it indeed, can you try removing the limited access and see if it helps? If this doesn't work, you can also ask your Notion admin to add the Dust app on a given page. Instructions here: https://docs.dust.tt/docs/notion-connection#updating-the-connection.

Hey, Remi I've tried both and it's still doesn't work... I don't think that the limited access has an impact because the Cross-Team Meetings which is in the same main Notion page have synced well (cf. my first screenshot) . About asking the admin to give access, I think I'd do it but only for the main Notion page, not for the specific pages inside that main one. It's very painful because it's slowing us down implementing Dust...
