Improving dust-cli: Great Updates and Suggestions for Settings

Hey everyone, I'm arriving a bit late 😄 but I retested dust-cli and since the last update => it's even better 🙂 We could almost compare it to Claude Code. Nothing to complain about, everything is really great / Code analysis is spot on. Only downside, no settings available. It would be awesome to have configs like Claude Code in modes: per project/global in order to configure things more precisely. Can't wait to see what's next ❤️

I misunderstood, but the route used is only for creating the message and not getting the response. Logically, we should use “https://dust.tt/api/v1/w/{wId}/assistant/conversations/{cId}” to retrieve the entire conversation and therefore the response from the last message sent. There is also this route https://dust.tt/api/v1/w/{wId}/assistant/conversations/{cId}/events which, if I understand the documentation correctly, could do the job (to be tested).

On my side, I don’t use as many parameters in my call, and I do get the response from the API. This “blocking” parameter seems strange to me indeed.

Ok, no conversation listing. My trick of creating the conversation beforehand helps solve the problem (if I’m using the full API) but not with n8n (with the dust node) since it’s not possible to configure a conversation identifier (because you need to put the assistant identifier instead). A solution?

API Endpoint Inquiry: Listing Conversations Created via API

Hello Dust team, Quick API question, is there an endpoint that I might have missed for listing conversations created via the API? If we forget to save the conversation identifier, there’s no way to find it again. The only trick I’ve found is to create the conversation manually through the website and then continue via the API using that identifier (but this doesn’t work with n8n where it’s not possible to pass a conversation identifier). Thanks for your help.
