Hey thanks for the answer. I am already trying to orchestrate how it interacts with children agents but I find that it is sometimes not responsive to my prompt instructions. That might be related to the issues I reported here: https://dustcommunity.slack.com/archives/C06SHT0F20G/p1753282471503569?thread_ts=1753183979.265599&cid=C06SHT0F20G For context, for the moment my children agents are all specialized search agents so I can delegate the search and synthesis of results to children agent and preserve the master agent context window. Some questions I have about this approach:

I don't care about runtime for this use case. I mostly want the best result as possible. 🔴 This is the new step strategy it takes => https://eu.dust.tt/w/2WJ4Akk9tx/assistant/AVmOzjVX5n One step of parallel search then one step of reasoning I have somewhat tried to update the agent prompt to fix this, but i had tested with the same version before my updates and the result was the same. Actually changing the prompt in many ways didn't do anything for it to change its steps strategy. Today it added a reasoning step at the end, but yesterday it never did. I also have an agent that used to always take at least 6-7 steps, and now it only takes 1 step 100% of the time. I tried changing the prompt to really push it to take several steps but it never does.
